COVID 19- Update

Hi Cricket Family, I hope you and your cricket community are safe and well as we begin to enjoy more opportunities to spend time with family and friends. We have just celebrated National Volunteer Week and this year’s theme, “Changing Communities, Changing Lives”, was particularly appropriate given the changes COVID-19 has created in most aspects of our lives. WA Cricket Volunteers Get Opportunity Of a Lifetime

A group of WA Community Cricket volunteers received a money can’t buy experience during the Second Test match at Perth Stadium. The West Australian Cricket Association (WACA) put on a very special breakfast for the volunteers before they made their way over the Matagarup Bridge to our world class Stadium for Day Two of the Test match between Australia and India. The group got to hear from the likes of legendary fast bowler Glen McGrath and Australian coach Justin Langer as they toured the new home of cricket. Spartans Christmas Day 22 December 3pm onwards

Leeming Spartans Senior Cricket Club are celebrating Christmas at John Connell Reserve on Saturday 22 December and you are all invited. There will be bouncy castles and Father Christmas arriving by helicopter at 7pm (parents to supply wrapped gifts for your own kids and the big fella will hand them out)  Come along for some Christmas cheer and a BBQ. Leeming Spartan Open Day

Join the Leeming Spartan Junior Cricket Club Open Day at John Connell Reserve this Sunday 14th October, between 10 am – 12 pm.  Register to play and get sized up for our fantastic new numbered playing shirts. Free sausage sizzle (for all) and ice cream (for players) plus a coffee van will be there. One parent from the first thirty players will get free coffee. Prizes will be given away and it will be attended by WA state players. Our girl’s side will be playing from 9 am against Bateman if you want to come down and have a look. Looking forward to seeing you all, new girl and boys players and families welcome!!
