The Leeming Spartan Junior Cricket Club has multiple locations for our matches, all throughout the Leeming area!
Our primary ground and clubhouse are located on the fantastic John Connell Reserve on Dimond Court in Leeming, Western Australia, but we also have a number of grounds on the reserves nearby.

Established in February 1998, the Leeming Spartan Junior Cricket Club is the premier location for you or your child – boy or girl – to play cricket in Western Australia!
We are located just off Roe Highway and Karel Avenue, on Dimond Court, in the booming Perth suburb of Leeming.
Situated on the magnificent John Connell Reserve on Dimond Court in Leeming, Western Australia, the Leeming Spartan Junior Cricket Club is just a two-minute drive from the Farrington Road exit on the Kwinana Freeway southbound.
The Leeming Spartan Junior Cricket Club utilises the Leeming Spartan Cricket Club’s (senior club) world-class headquarters, which contains outstanding training facilities and cricket nets, brilliant player rooms (complete with kitchens, showers, and bathrooms), a brand new swing-set, brand new ground-wide lighting, and a fantastic viewing area with plenty of shade!

John Connell Reserve:
This location has been the Spartan home ground since 1988, although we haven’t always been situated in the multi-million dollar facilities we enjoy today.
Our clubhouse was previously the building sitting opposite to the new clubrooms, the one that still encompasses both change rooms.
Having moved from Trevor Gribble Reserve in Bull Creek (which as seen below is still one of our home grounds), the Club changed its name for the second time in seven years to the Leeming Spartan Cricket Club.
In 1988, the Club was granted the magnificent sporting complex at Connell Reserve situated on Dimond Court, Leeming as its home ground.
The playing field measured 200 metres by 150 metres being planted in 1983 so were exceptionally well grassed and clearly had the potential to be the best playing arena in the whole association.

Peter Ellis Reserve:
The Leeming Spartan Junior Cricket Club’s second location is a longtime home ground and is situated between the Leeming Shopping Centre and Leeming Senior High School. This is where the majority of the older girls teams on Saturday morning.
Unfortunately, there are no facilities here, meaning you’ll have to use the Leeming Shopping Centre next door. A capital works project to build a clubhouse is currently being discussed, and it is hoped that we’ll see rooms there in the next five years.

Peter Ellis Reserve – 57 Farrington Road, Leeming, Western Australia, 6149
Trevor Gribble Reserve:
The Leeming Spartan Junior Cricket Club’s third location is located on the corner of Parry Avenue (at the lights prior to when the road becomes Burrendah Boulevard) and Karel Avenue.
Of note, Trevor Gribble used to be the home ground for the Bull Creek Spartans (as we were then known) before our move to John Connell as the Leeming Spartan Cricket Club.
The ground comes equipped with change rooms, showers, toilets, cricket nets, and clubhouse. Parking is available off Parry Avenue on the right-hand side. Parking is free of charge.

Trevor Gribble Reserve – 5 Burrendah Boulevard, Willetton, Western Australia, 6155
Tompkins Park:
Whilst not an official home ground of the Leeming Spartan Junior Cricket Club, it is the central hub of the SWMJCC all-girls competitions on Saturday mornings. The junior girl’s sides play their matches at Tompkins Park alongside all other clubs.
Having one centralised ground makes for an easier transition through year groups as well as allows players to interact with one another and enjoy Australia’s most popular sport (and fastest-growing women’s sport!).
