Leeming Spartans are growing from the grassroots up
Our club has seen fantastic growth in all our junior cricket grades. This has been a direct result of the outstanding volunteers running of our entry programs. This well-run club environment encourages the values of having a go and great team spirit.
We value our juniors as they hold the key to future success for our club and the community. We strive to provide them with the correct values, leadership, and enjoyment of the sport throughout this 16-week program.
Our Coordinator Tim Gray was nominated for the CJCC Junior and Master Coordinator of the year and was a finalist last season for the Good Sports SWMJCC individual award.
The Spartans welcome all new members and their families no matter their skill level.
Woolworths Junior Blasters – For Beginner Juniors
Starting Date: October 2020 – 4:00-5:00 PM and ends March 2021
Suitable for 5-7-year-olds
Junior Blasters is for kids new to cricket with participants building their skills through fun, game-based activities. The games are designed for small groups to ensure every child gets a go, allowing them to test and learn new skills. When they have mastered the basics they will be ready to graduate to Master Blasters where they can play modified games of cricket.

Woolworths Master Blasters – For More Skilled/Experienced Juniors
Starting Date: October 2020 – 4:00-5:30 PM until end March 2021
Suitable for 7-9-year-olds
Master Blasters is a super fun, social, safe cricket program for boys & girls under 10 years of age. Spartans run intra- club games on Monday nights when participants play across multiple grounds versing each other a great opportunity for kids to start playing cricket.

Heat Policy or Wet Weather
If a session needs to be canceled due to the heat or bad weather we will endeavour to text all families by 3 pm on Monday.
